Card odds poker is necessary to win in high limit games because most of the high limit games are those that involve a battle of the mental matrices of people in the card game.  Normally, card games are played with cards and players, but the high limit card games are played more against players than with just cards.  The nature of the players has lot of power in high limit games.  Because the card odds poker of high limit games are based in lot of bluffs.  In many cases, complicating monster players make the player with a comparatively good hand to fold.
