Matrix Tables Optimal Strategy-Full Tilt Poker
Monday, December 29th, 2008In two Matrix tables if you are going to be the first player who is out after you have gambled and lost. On the additional tables, you get rid of 3 other players each prior to leaving out in 4th and 2nd accordingly.
You would have made ((1+2) X 3) + 2 which will be equal to 11 points for the first table, and you will be getting ((1+2) * 3) + 4 which will be 13 points for the second table, where you will be getting a total of 24 Matrix points. This is the similar number of points you will earn if you would just be hanging around and get to be in the 3rd place in each SNG, where you will be knocking just no one out and you will thus make a lot of money playing the other way.
You must note that it is important to be familiar with the fact that 20% of your entry fee will be going towards Matrix payouts. The most favorable SNG strategy is to be playing tight pretty early, and afterwards you better push-or-fold pre-flop in cases where the blinds get to be higher and the stacks will be getting shorter. Optimal strategy will have your stacks grow by blind stealing and of course by applying pressure and it does not deal with eliminating as many players as possible. (more…)
